The Lyneham Community Association is urging locals to write to Attorney-General Shane Rattenbury, as a fight over an illegal carpark continues.

An A-CAT decision last year ordered the closure of a car park on Lyneham Oval by Brindabella Christian College, with no development application ever submitted for the site.

However, an injunction has been granted due to an appeal from the College, which is in place until the matter is heard in the ACT Supreme Court.

The Association’s Deputy Chair Trevor Vickers says it needs to go.
