The Chief Minister’s been told to “GET ON WITH THE JOB” and resolve the Majura Valley land saga.

Federal Finance Minister Katy Gallagher has written to Andrew Barr telling him the matter needs to be treated as “high priority”

She’s questioned him on WHEN the A.C.T. Government will start negotiations with Defence regarding the transfer of some Commonwealth land in the valley to the Territory

In return, that would open the way for long-term leases being granted to farmers.

Details of the letter were revealed in correspondence involving one of the farmes.

The Barr Government says it’ll be considered by Cabinet with an update in coming weeks.
