A 42-year-old man will face court after he allegedly shoved and hit security guards at a supermarket last night.
About 9:30pm on June 18, the man was spotted inside a supermarket in the Canberra Centre, breaking a banning notice issued by the store.
Staff told the man to leave and while outside the store, he got into a verbal altercation with them before claiming to have a knife on him.
He then allegedly shoved one security guard and struck another in the face.
He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today, charged two counts of assault and one count of trespassing
