Court today for a 25 year old man after he breached his parole conditions and a shotgun was seized from his home.
In April, a warrant was issued for the man’s arrest after he allegedly violated his parole conditions.
After enquiries by ACT Policing’s Proactive Intervention and Diversion Team, the man was believed to be in a home in Chifley.
Yesterday, police attended a home in Chifley to arrest the man and after several hours of negotiation, he surrendered himself.
In a subsequent search of the home, police found a shotgun and dozens of shotgun shells.
The 25 year old is believed to have been involved in multiple vehicle thefts and burglaries across Canberra.
