Police have charged a 20-year old Spence man, after an alleged shooting incident in Belconnen earlier this week.

It’s alleged the man had an interaction with a group known to him while driving on Ginninderra Drive, ramming the other vehicle and discharging a firearm at them.

Police conducted a traffic stop early this morning in Majura where they found the man in the passenger seat of an Audi sedan.

He was arrested and taken to the ACT Watch House and will face the Magistrates Court today (May 29).
