A 46-year-old man will face court today charged with multiple counts of stalking and breaching a family violence order against his former wife.

Police allege the man contravened a family violence order ten times, by ordering and delivering unwanted groceries and takeaway food to the woman’s residence.

It’s also alleged he sent letters and left items in the woman’s backyard.

The incidents were reported to police and on April 16, officers from the Domestic and Family Violence Investigations Unit attended the man’s residence and placed him under arrest.

Investigations are continuing into possible electronic monitoring of the woman.

He will face the ACT Magistrates Court today charged with ten counts of contravening family violence order and three counts of aggravated stalking.
