Man Wins Termination Case

A man says he’s been vindicated by a court ruling to pay multi-millions in dollars over the termination of his contract

It was a near five-million dollar contract over two years… signed in early 2022.

But it was suspended and later terminated, just months later, by the Canberra Institute of Technology’s chief executive LEANNE COVER.

Patrick Hollingsworth was successful in court on Friday, for the institute to pay damages and court costs… valued at about 2.4 million dollars… due to loss of bargain.

Since the win, Mr Hollingsworth has since declared, the his company was treated grossly unfairly by the institute.

The institute is now reviewing possible avenues for appeal.
