It could be another six months before convicted whistleblower DAVID McBRIDE can appeal his convictions.

McBride was jailed for six years, for sharing secret documents with journalists.

He argued – he had a duty to reveal the material, and wasn’t breaking the law.

Yesterday – a breakthrough – he was granted permission to appeal his convictions.

However, not just yet – his appeal is NOT likely to be heard before March next year.
