An MDMA dealer described as immature by a Canberra Judge has avoided jail time after he made no attempts to conceal his identity on the dark web.

Benjamin Tony Sagnelli was only 18 when police intercepted 200 MDMA tablets he ordered from the Netherlands two years ago.

Two month’s later, another package was intercepted from Poland.

When Police caught up with him, they found more envelopes and further evidence of transactions on his phone.

Justice David Mossop took into account he had no prior criminal history and was in-mature.

Sagnelli will serve a two year intensive corrections order in the community.
