A case of measles has been identified in the ACT in a recently returned overseas traveller.
The individual attended the following public venues while unknowingly infectious. These locations do not pose an ongoing risk.
• Services Australia Louisa Lawson Building, on 20/7/2026 between midday-5:30pm
• Services Australia Doris Blackburn Building, on 21/7/2026 between 8:45am-5pm
• Betty Botter Café (in Doris Blackburn Building), on 21/7/2026 between 9:30am-10:30am
• Services Australia Doris Blackburn Building, on 22/7/2026 between 8:45am-5:30pm
• Betty Botter Café (in Doris Blackburn Building), on 22/7/2026 between 9:15am-9:45am
• Woolworths Mawson, on 22/7/2026 between 5:30pm-6:30pm
• Ochre Medical Centre Tuggeranong Square, on 24/7/2026 between 11:00am-12:45pm
• Capital Pathology Tuggeranong Square, on 24/7/2026 between 12:00pm-1:15pm
• ACT Pathology Collection Centre in Building 10 at Canberra Hospital including the waiting room and the public toilet immediately outside ACT Pathology Collection Centre, on 24/7/2026 between 1:30pm-3:30pm.
Anyone who visited during these dates should monitor for symptoms for 18 days, and see a doctor if symptoms develop.
