A Rally’s being held today outside the Russian Embassy here in Canberra, to mark nine years since the shooting down of Malaysia Airlines flight MH 17.

298 people, including 38 Australians were killed when the plane was destroyed over eastern Ukraine.

This Canberra Rally Organiser – Marusya Jacyshyn Says the Russians need to be held accountable on multiple fronts.

She says the rally not only honours those killed in the tragedy,  but also highlights the plight of Ukrainians in the current war with Russia.
