There’s an UN-OFFICIAL report-card on how students are coping without their mobile devices at school
It’s not a scientific study… merely, just feedback…
from first term this year, A.C.T. students in kindergarten… to year 10 were disallowed access to phones and other devices…. during the day at school, or school events. There IS however, wiggle room for year 11 and 12 students.
The A.C.T. was the last jurisdiction in Australia to introduce the new rule.
NOW there’s word – it’s having a positive effect…. with reports, students were less distracted – and teachers are engaging with students more easily.
Exemptions are in place for those meeting medical requirements and alike.
