Four men were charged as a part of an ongoing police operation in the Monaro region.

Strike Force Sulfur investigated the alleged commercial supply of cocaine, and executed eight search warrants at homes in Queanbeyan, Jerrabombera and Franklin.

The investigators received assistance from the Australian Federal Police’s dog unit, and officers from the region’s local police districts.

The four men arrested during the execution of the warrants were charged with multiple drug, criminal activity, weapon, and non-disclosure offences.

One of the men (a 37-year-old from Queanbeyan) was granted conditional bail, but the other three men were refused bail.

New South Wales Police Southern Region Operations Manager Acting Superintendent, Darren Kelly said police seized what they allege to be cocaine.

He said they also seized other prohibited drugs, prescription drugs, prohibited weapons, and quantities of cash.
