While there’s talk of Canberra’s Telstra Tower being refurbished and re-opened – no date has been set AND the revolving restaurant remains in limbo.

Over the past two years, Telstra has carried out planning and engaged with the community about re-developing the building.

The company recently approached the ACT Government to consider operating it as a visitor attraction on Black Mountain…. as Telstra admits, it does not have the expertise to make it happen.

The A.C.T. Government has confirmed it’ll work with Telstra – BUT, there’s been no announcement on an opening date – and no one wants to confirm IF the revolving restaurant will return.
