Police expect to lay more charges following the arrest of a 45 year old Canberra over the alleged sexual abuse of a 13 year old girl.

The man was arrested more than a week ago at his home in Canberra’s North and has already made an initial court appearance.

Police allege,  the abuse occurred last month at the man’s home.

The 45 year old’s been charged with multiple counts over the alleged abuse –

Police say the investigation continues – and additional charges may be laid.
