The A.C.T. Government’s committed more funding to Canberra’s fixed-site pill testing facility.
The service has been operating for the past two years, out of a building in Canberra’s city centre.
It originally began as a six month trial… and repeatedly granted extensions in Government funding.
It’s tested more than 26-hundred samples, since opening.
Population Health Minister Emma Davidson said the funding showed a commitment from the ACT government to treat substance use as a health issue and not a criminal issue.
