Administrators believe Bonza could resume operations, though it could take months.
Representatives from Hall Chadwick are still hopeful a transaction could happen… “In the not too distant future”.
Last week, the Federal Court granted Bonza administrators a two month extension to find a solution to the airline’s woes…
It’s also been claimed, a Canberra flight schedule could’ve saved the airline.
Administrators told the court, staff and creditors would be better off if the company avoids going into liquidation.
It’s thought, if the airline went into liquidation, it would also lose its air operator certificate which would be the main asset for a potential buyer.
Discussions continue with several parties that are reportedly still interested in bailing out the airline.
Another creditors meeting will be head before the new deadline to find a new buyer which is now July 29. –
