Canberrans are being urged to secure their homes and vehicles after multiple armed offenders targeted an Evatt home across the long weekend.
About 2am on Sunday morning, burglars disturbed residents inside a home on McGill Street in Evatt before one of the occupants chased them outside.
Once outside, the resident was confronted by three people, with two of the offenders allegedly brandishing knifes.
The offenders were all wearing dark hooded jumpers, dark or grey pants and all were wearing black facial coverings.
The group were last seen running towards the Ginninderra Creek green belt between McGill Street.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage of the Evatt area before 2am on Sunday is being urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
