Planning is well underway for the Canberra symphony orchestra to celebrate 75 years of entertaining the capital.

Next year’s event is already finalised and conductor JESSICA COTTIS says the anniversary program is something not to be missed…

There’s Beethoven, Mozart and Tchaikovsky, to be sure, but also a major event featuring the music of John Williams, with theme songs from Star Wars, Jurassic Park and Harry Potter.

Cottis and her team are still surfing the high of a large funding boost from the Government in the last budget.
