A Canberra man’s facing a year behind bars, if convicted for performing a Nazi salute in front of the Gold Coast Hebrew Congregation.

According to Federal Police, the incident happened in October last year.

A special operation was set up to investigate.. and a week ago, the man’s home in Gungahlin was raided.

A 25 year old man was detained, after police allegedly found a photo on his phone, showing the man performing the Nazi salute, in full view of the public.

In court, he’s pleaded NOT Guilty.. and is due to face further court action in September.
