A reminder for Canberra motorists – New road cameras come into effect this month, aimed at catching drivers with multiple bad behaviours.

It’s part of the A.C.T.’s latest road safety action plan.

The cameras are initially to catch speeding motorists, but will also detect other offences – like not wearing a seatbelt, using a mobile phone… or unregistered vehicles.

Until now, there were NO fines, but now, Tickets ARE being generated by the new cameras
