Leanne Castley has been elected leader of the Canberra Liberals, with Jeremy Hanson deputy leader of the party.
Ms Castley won the vote 5 to 4, with Mr Hanson defeating Mark Parton 5 votes to 4 as the party’s deputy.
Former Leader Elizabeth Lee has already taken to social media to congratulate the pair.
