A signalised pedestrian crossing along Canberra Avenue at St Edmunds has been approved, nearly a year after two of the school’s students were seriously injured after being run over.

A government spokesperson has confirmed that the National Capital Authority recently provided the Works Approval to allow the construction stage to begin.

The works are set to be completed by June 30th.
