The CSIRO has a new deputy

Kirsten Rose has been named to take on the newly created role of deputy chief executive.

Over the past four years, she’s been leading research into agriculture, health, manufacturing and scientific infrastructure… and has previously worked in the U.S. As well as the U.K.

Under her new role, she’s expected to lead the strategic direction of the CSIRO – and the increasing impact of science through simplification and sustainability.
