Legislation’s being introduced into Federal Parliament today, (Monday)  limiting the influence of billionaires in Australian elections.

It effectively bans people, like Clive Palmer, from donating more than 20-thousand-dollars to a political candidate.

But the independents believe it’ll make it harder for them to compete against the major parties.

A-C-T senator David Pocock says it’ll only work for Labor and the Coalition – and will cement their dominance:

Under the plan, the overhaul would NOT kick in until AFTER the next election.
