From today, a range of changes come into effect, from registering your car to tax cuts.

The new financial year sees Canberrans facing a new registration system for the A.C.T.
The fee will be based weight.. and emissions.

Low and zero emissions vehicles will score cheaper registration fees – while higher emissions vehicles will be penalised and pay more for their registration.
light vehicles are expected to cost the same or cheaper, pending the weight-based system.

A range of tax cuts come in… while there’s an increase to the minimum wage from today.
but if you’re headed overseas… be warned, passport fees have skyrocketed.
