Canberra Airport has confirmed another international destination.

Batik Air has confirmed plans to fly three direct flights a week between the National Capital and Denpasar.

The carrier is part of the Lion Air Group which also has airlines in Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia.

Batik Air spokesman Chandran Rama Muthy says it’ll enhance connectivity and make travel between the two countries more accessible.

The service begins June 14.
