The new superior court judge has stated her appeal to the unfair laws against First Nations people.
Publicly sworn into her new role as superior court judge, Justice Louise Taylor declared on Friday how much heavy lifting the system has to do in regards to indigenous issues.
Taylor is also the first indigenous woman appointed to a superior court in Australia, promising to be a judge for all manner of people. The Times says she is also supporting of young lawyers with diverse backgrounds
Called a deadly woman by her colleagues, Taylor publicly stated how the suffering of First Nations people at the hands of the law must cease.
She is expected to oversee her first case soon.
