No further COVID-19 cases in Southern NSW despite high testing numbers

There have been no new cases of coronavirus recorded in the Southern NSW Local Health District after two infected people visited the region on New Year’s Day.

More than 2,300 tests have been carried out in the region over the past week.

Anyone who attended the Great Southern Hotel in Eden on Wednesday December 30 between 5:30pm and 7pm is being reminded to follow public health advice for close or casual contacts.

Visitors to Bermi’s Beachside Café in Bermagui on the 31st of December between 9am and 10am should get tested immediately and monitor for symptoms until January 14.
