Canberrans who receive an email, advising of a class action settlement from APPLE, are being advised to OPEN the document… as it may provide a pay-day for some.

Electronic scams appear all too often these days… but A.C.T. locals are being encouraged to check your SPAM file…

Look for the subject line:- “LOPEZ VOICE ASSISTANT CLASS ACTION SETTLEMENT”.

It’s a genuine advisory.

Earlier this year, APPLE agreed to resolve a five year old lawsuit, involving allegations, SIRI was activated to record conversations through I-Phones and other devices….

but it does not acknowledge any wrong doing by Apple.

There are conditions – and claims need to be filed by July.
