Over 40 Canberrans are part of the 949 Australians honoured in this year’s King’s Birthday Honours list.

Dr Gordon John de Brouwer named an Officer of the Order of Australia, for his distinguished service to public administration, policy and reform, diversity, environmental conservation and education.

Other local residents recognised on the Honours list include Retired Supreme Court Judge Dr Ken Crispin, volunteer church organist Maureen Freeman, Raiders board member Bronwyn Fagan, and 2022 ACT Citizen of the Year, Mohammed Ali.
