There are renewed calls to bring forward the opening of a dedicated paediatrics intensive care unit at the Canberra Hospital

It comes as more testimony was heard this week at the inquest into the death of Rozalia Spadafora .

A level one care service will be included in the Canberra Hospital expansion.

However, the unit won’t be opened until next year.
