A Palmerston man has been arrested after he was allegedly found with drugs and illegal fire arms.
A white SUV was pulled over after it sped away from a patrol car.
Officers found the vehicle was unregistered and fitted with plates belonging to another vehicle, and was later confirmed stolen.
A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered a substance suspected of being methylamphetamine with an estimated street value of more than $11,000, ammunition, and two modified firearms.
A 24 year old man was arrested and charged to face court today.
