Lawyers for Canberra Raiders prop JOSH Papali’i will continue work to resolve a legal matter, before it goes to court next year.

Initial behind-the-scenes negotiations have already fallen through and the 32 year old will fight the allegations made against him.

His lawyers have pleaded NOT GUILTY on his behalf, to charges relating to drunken night out in Gungahlin, earlier this year…

His legal council has been attempting to negotiate with the territory’s prosecuting office to resolve the matter without a contested hearing.

However, his lawyer will continue to seek discussions with prosecutors that could help narrow the issues, in the hopes of preventing a multi-day hearing, in February next year.
