A.C.T. Senator DAVID POCOCK wants action on truth in political advertising, amid misinformation fears involving Artificial Intelligence.

Senator Pockock wants the Albanese Government to urgently re-introduce its lapsed Electoral Legislation Amendment bill… from last year… but lapsed ahead of this year’s Federal election.

He says politicians should not be allowed to lie in political advertising… and electoral laws need to be brought into line with community expectations.

Legislative reform was recommended after the 2022 Federal Election…
