ACT Police are looking for witnesses who helped a man that may have been hit by a car in Kambah earlier this week.

Around 10.30pm on Monday, police received reports of a man lying unconscious in the middle of the road, at the intersection of Summerland Circuit and Kingsmill Street.

A member of the public is believed to have given assistance to the man before police arrived to the scene.

Police would like to speak with that person, and anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

Dash cam footage is also needed, from those in the area between 7pm and 11pm.
