Police say the incident occurred on Flemington Road, and that they received multiple reports of a collision between two vehicles.

Witnesses identified three men getting out of a silver Holden Commodore and fleeing the scene immediately after it collided with a Nissan Leaf that was carrying four people.

One of the four people received minor injuries in the collision.

Three men were later arrested and charged with failing to provide details following a collision, or render assistance to an injured person, and failing to provide a breath sample.

The investigation is ongoing.
