The alleged incident is said to have occurred in early April where a white hatchback was travelling in the right lane on William Hovell Drive heading toward the city near the intersection with Bindubi Street.

A blue four wheel drive that was towing a blue trailer and travelling in the same direction is said to have collided heavily with the side of the white hatchback.

Following the collision police say the hatchback came to a stop, but the driver of the four wheel drive failed to stop and exchange details following the collision.

Anyone with information is urged to come forward.
