Police are using the month of November to crackdown on speeding motorists across the A.C.T.

It’s the traffic focus for A.C.T. Policing this month… drivers who speed will be in their sights.

Authorities say, speeding remains one of the five main contributors to fatal accidents … and is a factor in a large portion of collisions on Canberra roads.

However, police say they’re disappointed, the message is not getting through to those who push the limits.

Nearly 2,000 fines have already been distributed this year in Canberra….

The message from police… “Don’t Speed”.
