Police are investigating after a deceased man was located in a Braddon unit on Saturday night.

Just before midnight on Saturday, police and paramedics were called to a unit on Lowanna Street, following reports of an injured man.

When police arrived, they located a deceased man inside the unit. 

A 37-year-old woman, who was present when police arrived, is assisting police with their enquiries.

The man has not been formally identified and enquiries to confirm his identity are continuing.
