A police hunt is underway, after the Audi believed to have been driven at an officer was found overnight in Cook.

Police have revealed investigations into the driver and passenger of the vehicle are ongoing.

Police say the driver failed to comply with the directive to stop and then allegedly drove at the officer, who received medical treatment for injuries that are believed to be non-life threatening.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
