Canberra police are appealing for public assistance to identify three men linked to a series of shoplifting and stolen vehicle incidents across the city.
Last Monday, two of the men allegedly stole multiple items from an electronics store in the CBD. Later that evening, at around 8:15pm, all three men are alleged to have taken several cartons of alcohol from a CBD liquor store without paying.
On Friday, CCTV footage captured one of the men fuelling a vehicle previously reported stolen at a petrol station, leaving without paying. Later that day, at approximately 4:23pm, all three men allegedly attended a liquor store in Woden, collecting multiple cartons of alcohol without paying.
Police have released descriptions of the three men:
- Person 1: Light-coloured T-shirt, black vest, black pants, and white sneakers.
- Person 2: Orange-coloured hair, black jumper, black pants, and black shoes.
- Person 3: Black hat, puffer jacket, and black pants.
Anyone who can identify the men or provide information about these incidents is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
