The ACT Ombudsman has released the findings of ACT Policing’s “use of force”, making 13 recommendations.

The investigation found – in almost one third of cases reviewed, unprofessional behaviour from officers was found.

That includes impatience, aggression, and foul and abusive language that escalated situations.

ACT Policing has accepted 2 recommendations, – partially accepted 8 – and not accepted 3.
