There has been an escalation in strike action by the public sector union, over the Federal Government’s pay offer.

It comes amid the union’s calls for the Federal Government to do better, as Community and Public Sector Union members undertook more stop work action this morning.

Members of the union at the Fair Work Ombudsman and Department of Employment and Workplace Relations stopped work for two hours from 8:30 this morning.

At this stage there appears to be no new offer outside the 11 point 2 per cent over three years currently being offered to the public sector.
