The Chief Minister is promoting the return of QATAR AIRWAYS to Canberra Airport.

It’s NOT a direct flight from the National Capital to Doha… but it will see the return of QATAR planes to Canberra… and crew supplied by the gulf Airline.

Scrapped in 2020, the flight originally saw planes flying from Canberra to Sydney and then to Doha.

The NEW schedule sees them flying Canberra MELBOURNE and then DOHA on a Triple Seven jet.

Chief Minister ANDREW BARR has been using Social Media to promote the return of the airline to Canberra… the service is due to begin in December, just in time for Christmas travel.
