There’ve been multiple callouts for help from residents who’ve suffered leaky roofs from yesterday’s downfalls.
While there’s been a break in the weather, authorities are concerned about the rain intensifying over the next couple of days and there’s also the chance of a storm.
Parts of Canberra have experienced flooding and dams are at capacity across the territory.
Flood watch warnings have been issued for parts of the region, including minor flooding possible at the Queanbeyan and Molonglo rivers, and possible flooding of the upper Murrumbidgee River
