15 year old Cassius Turvey died in hospital last month 10 days after the incident.

Police have since charged a 21 year old over the incident.

His death sparked rallies across Australia.

One of the events was held in Canberra last night at the Aboriginal tent embassy.

One person told the crowd:- “for first nations, it’s a privilege to grow old”.

A minute’s silence was also held at the gathering.
