117 complaints were lodged against ACT Corrective Services in the last year, all of them to do with the Alexander Maconochie Centre.

A year earlier only 69 complaints were recorded.

Complaints were made mostly by prisoners and ranged from access to facilities and medical treatment, to staff conduct and limited visitor access.
