Repatriation flight set to arrive in Canberra

The ACT Health Minister says it’s not necessary to pay quarantine hotel staff more to compensate for missing shifts at other work places.

Rachel Stephen-Smith says staff with high-risk second jobs have been identified ahead of the arrival of a repatriation flight tomorrow.

150 Australians will be arriving in the capital from Singapore, but the location of the hotel will not be made public.

ACT Policing and the Australian Defence Force will provide assistance during the quarantine process.
