Taking the car to work.. or even the shops.. has become too expensive.

New figures show transport costs in Canberra and other capital cities have increased about 13 percent in 2023… nearly three times the inflation rate of 4.1 percent.
The report comes from the  Australian Automobile Association’s Transport Affordability Index.

High up-front costs for buying new vehicles, higher car loan interest rates and increasing insurance premiums were behind the ballooning transport costs –

In a nutshell… everything’s just too expensive.

Even the price at the pump.
